It is going to be a problem which affects me if a subscriber sends an
email which causes a serious problem if I cannot determine who the
person is. There was an incident last year about an email which led
to legal issues. You may recall the names of the friends who helped
the person and the ones who remained silent.

I suggest considering which laws apply to the mailing list which you
read and whether it is similar for this mailing list.
