When domains redirect you to a facebook page

Hello,

I recently visited the following:

- mopays.mu
- 101-multimedia.com

The annoying thing is that those domains would redirect you to facebook
pages. What's the point of having a domain which redirects to another
domain which you do not own?

In case of 101-multimedia.com, a friend suggested me the company when I
was enquiring about notebook prices. I thought I could find a pricelist
on the website.

The facebook page 'overview' section mentions the web address
www.101-multimedia.com and the latter redirects to the facebook page.

Am I the only one who finds this practice annoying?
