The selection of a representative for an event or an issue usually
works as follows:

   1. One or more persons volunteer to represent the Mauritius Internet Users
      at an event or for an issue.

   2. Shelly, currently leading the Mauritius Internet Users, chooses the
      representative(s) based on consensus.

My personal preference is for the representative to report to the
mailing list about his/her activity. It is a good way to find out
whether the representative was a doll at the event. The
representative is supposed to make a disclosure if there is a
conflict of interest.

I'll propose your name as representative of the Mauritius Internet
Users if there is an event you are interested in.
