Technical standard for mail service

Dear Sir/Madam,

During a discussion about the tax confirmation email to complete the
payment [1], the topic of technical standards which are used for
email was raised. I would like to ensure that I can receive mail
from mra.mu. Could you please confirm whether the Mauritius Revenue
Authority uses RFC 5321 as a technical standard for its mail service?
