I am an executive member of the Linux User Group of Mauritius (LUGM). I
contribute my time, as much as I can, to the group and support its
motto, i.e promoting Linux and FOSS. LUGM as an association is not
perfect but I contribute within my humble capacity.

The LUGM constitution is available here:
http://lugm.org/docs/Rules_of_The_Linux_User_Group_Meta_opt.pdf

I am casual contributor to the Mauritius Software Craftsmanship
Community. By contribution I mean I attend some of its events and push
in ideas on which I can myself dedicate some time.

Both of these groups are pretty welcoming. Instead of criticizing from
outside why not contribute your ideas into making either LUGM or MSCC
better? Critics are good for development. Everybody is putting time into
something based on their belief of doing the right thing with the right
method. I am not questioning the methods since that is not the priority
for the moment. I answered your tweet saying I will read about the
privacy concerns and comment after the Developers Conference. Surely,
there are ways to find and fix or improve things.

Would you like to have coffee at Voilą and we discuss matters?

Cheers,
