Dear Sir/Madam,
I received an email telling me about a "buffet" while the "from" field
mentions "Kesar Indian Restaurant". I did not subscribe to any list to
receive promotional items from Kesar Indian Restaurant.
The sender's email address is info_at_inbox-emarketing.com. That does not
appear to be a restaurant's email address. I visited www.kesar.mu for
more information but unfortunately it seems the web agency, Refleksyon
Studio, published the website with an incomplete template as the
information is bogus.
I am copying this email to Dr Kaleem Usmani, Assistant Manager, CERT-MU,
since I await his advice on provisions of law regarding unsolicited
messages. I am also copying the email to Mr Vik Bhoyroo, Executive
Director of the National Computer Board and to the Mauritius Internet
Users list for the sake of transparency.
Regards,
