I have done some thinking tonight and I am in personally in favour of
having one central bureau for handling FOI requests. I think several of us
have had the issue of being told "This is not the relevant Ministry. You
should try 'some other' Ministry" when dealing with the government. Having
one central bureau would mean the officers will be the one to identify
which relevant Ministry/body is to be queried for the FOI request.
