To sum up that report, you are actually getting 40% of the advertised
speed for 1Mbps provided by Orange. You are also getting a latency of 82
milliseconds to a server which is hosted by your ISP in Mauritius. In my
opinion, that latency is too high for a local server.
I am subscribed to 1Mbps ADSL from Orange and my results on
speedtest.net [1] indicate 19 milliseconds. Also note that I was on a
Skype call while doing this test and I did not notice any issue with the
call quality.
I would thus suggest that you complain to Orange by sending your
"speedtest" results to contact_at_orange.mu.
