Youtube is currently the platform of choice in Mauritius. As you
mentioned, it is up the news publisher to choose that or not. The
"live" content still looks experimental. In my personal opinion,
media companies are not making effective use of that option.

The company is not broadcasting video live on television. It is
using it in the same way as I could if I was interested in doing
that. There are already "Live" channels on youtube.com. Those
channels are not paying any license.
