It may be the wireless connection between the extender and your
laptop. Could you see whether you can access
http://www.mywifiext.net/ in your browser ((it should be local to
your network? Please test the access to that web site again when you
see the "limited internet connectivity" warning.
Could you also find out the IP address of the laptop (
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/find-computers-ip-address
) and the other "IPv4" details which you see in that window?
