Hi,

Thanks for the kind words...

Please read one of my blog articles about my reasoning of starting the
MSCC [1]

This is already happening... ;-)
MSCC craftsmen have the ability on our meetup space to create own
meetings and topics. It's part of the features of the platform [2]. This
has been used by Sean already to initiate the BeerOps, now Breakfast
Coding on Saturday mornings, and Ajmal is looking forward to kick of
another "specialised branch" with focus on Big Data in Curepipe soon.
And honestly, I'm soooo happy about this progress! This is community,
the MSCC is not my personal one-man show. It is YOU!

I'm currently trying to set up the topic - Big Data -, the date - 27th
of June, and the venue - unconfirmed yet but we might be in Quatre
Bornes next month.

Well, let's keep it cool. It was the first event of this type ever here
on the island and most people didn't know what to expect. Furthermore,
I'm kind of glad that we didn't have too many attendees at the same
time. Some sessions were already over-crowded and the premises are not
too big, too. So, eventually, next time the situation might change, now
that more people somehow know what they missed and that more companies
in IT kind of get what we are doing on a regular base.

Thanks, that would be my argument as well. And in reference to [1] it
was like this several times in the past, and it obviously didn't go well
for those attempts.
