Hey Nadim,
Yea good idea. Just be patient and don't try to rush anything which can
affect the project. And also if you are removing/replacing anything related
to frontend (i.e. scripts, plugins or any ui) i suggest you go for the most
appropriate one depending on what base library you are using. Example if
you are using jquery ui then go for a jquery ui widget or if you are using
bootstrap then go for a bootstrap widget. I have used this one before and
it's very easy to use and customise:
http://mindmup.github.io/bootstrap-wysiwyg/
And also using nodejs package manager (npm). It saves you lot of time and
trouble.
As for the choice of F3, i'm still not convinced. I go for a "more
complete" framework if i was in your place. Reasons being that you are, in
some ways, extending F3 to create a CMS that other people will be using.
You might, at some point, provide a helper/widget/service or anything else
that other framework have already implemented and you will be just like
"reinventing the wheel".
And i personally think it would be much more easier using a more advanced
framework. Maybe you have your reasons to use F3 but anything that can be
implementing using other frameworks can be implemented in F3 as well.
Nothing is impossible. It's just a matter of time.
Regards
Yuv
