I am doing some research about the internet in Mauritius. I would be
grateful if you could confirm whether there was a public consultation
for the "National Internet Filtering System" by the Information and
Communication Technologies Authority.
According to the Information and Communication Technologies Authority
this "ICTA project is the result of a consultative process with
stakeholders" (
https://www.icta.mu/mediaoffice/2011/news_ocf.htm
). I could not find any report about this consultative process on
the www.icta.mu web site. According to Watchdog International the
project was undertaken by the ICTA transparently and there was broad
consultation (
http://www.watchdoginternational.net/images/stories/mauritius.pdf
). I would be grateful if you could provide me with the report of
that broad consultation.
