There are 18 companies in Mauritius with an ISP licence. The narrow
choice mentioned above points to a problem for consumers in Mauritius.

There hasn't been much discussion about what is preventing people
from having more choice and better options.

In my opinion, that would depend on consumers asking that question to
the Information and Communication Technologies Authority.
