There is something wrong in the above. Your computer is not seeing
that result if you are getting a ping reply in 304 ms. This is what
you should be getting:

   PING www.google.mu (196.27.66.166): 56 data bytes
   64 bytes from 196.27.66.166: icmp_seq=0 ttl=60 time=2.585 ms
   64 bytes from 196.27.66.166: icmp_seq=1 ttl=60 time=2.379 ms
   64 bytes from 196.27.66.166: icmp_seq=2 ttl=60 time=2.416 ms
   64 bytes from 196.27.66.166: icmp_seq=3 ttl=60 time=2.147 ms
   64 bytes from 196.27.66.166: icmp_seq=4 ttl=60 time=2.176 ms
   --- www.google.mu ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 5 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
   round-trip min/avg/max/std-dev = 2.147/2.340/2.585/0.170 ms

This is what I get for Facebook:

   PING facebook.com (157.240.3.35): 56 data bytes
   64 bytes from 157.240.3.35: icmp_seq=0 ttl=83 time=342.947 ms
   64 bytes from 157.240.3.35: icmp_seq=1 ttl=83 time=342.696 ms
   64 bytes from 157.240.3.35: icmp_seq=2 ttl=83 time=342.736 ms
   64 bytes from 157.240.3.35: icmp_seq=3 ttl=83 time=342.734 ms
   64 bytes from 157.240.3.35: icmp_seq=4 ttl=83 time=342.521 ms
   --- facebook.com ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 5 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
   round-trip min/avg/max/std-dev = 342.521/342.726/342.947/0.752 ms

You are getting a better response that what I got. Although it is
simple for me to fix the response I got I won't bother doing it. :-)

This is the results I got:

   PING youtube-ui.l.google.com (196.27.66.230): 56 data bytes
   64 bytes from 196.27.66.230: icmp_seq=0 ttl=61 time=2.370 ms
