Yes, a biometric identity card will restrict my freedom within my native
country, while with a biometric passport I have the choice whether to
visit a country or not. Few people tend to understand that by giving in
my fingerprints and access to a digital photo which may be used to
identify me through CCTV cameras, I am actually limiting my movement.
