I did a test to Birmingham and I got half the advertised download and
upload speeds. The latency was 265 ms. This is the current route to the U.K:

  3 tengig4-1-fl.telecomplus.net (196.20.254.173) 7.9 ms 4.476 ms 3.928 ms
  4 1.9.241.193 (1.9.241.193) 74.319 ms 185.786 ms 73.961 ms
  5 10.55.200.12 (10.55.200.12) 243.295 ms 244.1 ms 243.442 ms
  6 linx-peering-01.as30827.net (195.66.224.241) 286.153
ms 277.659 ms 270.85

You should be getting a latency under 300 ms. What is the advertised
speed for the connection you are using in Mauritius?
