If I register on this mailing list as omgokhool_at_yahoo.co.uk and tomorrow
there is a dispute, how does the MIU verify the rightful owner of the email?

Now, let's come to something more serious. People in Mauritius do not
want to associate their work email or institution's email because (in
most cases) they fear there might be a backslash if they say something
which the institution or employer disapproves. People in Mauritius
rarely think that their professional email identity could give them a
leverage in discussions that are above academic level.
I will have to remind that the Mauritius Internet Users do not entertain
discussions on politics, racism or a subject of derogatory nature.
