Dear Mr DR,
I would not mind apologizing to Logan if I was indeed to be blamed for 'impertinence' or if Logan feels that it was a personal attack. My question was clear- I just want to make sure that the officials got the proper message and that they should not confuse the representatives present during such an important meeting. I do not mind if Logan wants to represent the Mauritius Internet Users but I just want to make it clear that one should send a proper mail to inform the MIU subscribers about such decision. I understand that the Multi-Stakeholder Officials do not want information discussed among themselves to be shared on the mailing list. The least I expect is for them to avoid making those petty mistakes in order to avoid any future misunderstandings.
>I do not know Mr Logan nor do I side with people, but it is painfully obvious to anyone that there is a sizable difference between one's customer and one's employer. I do not believe Mr Logan should take his time to explain such a difference. Use Google.
You are right! It is obvious that there is a sizable difference between one's customer and one's employer. I don't understand the problem as I was only trying to understand what Logan wrote about Google.
Anyway, what i meant when i asked Logan that question was: I don't see why there should be a problem for you to send the officials a mail to fix that issue since you know how to communicate with Google and the ICT Advisory Council (Which, by the way is not 'attacking his professionalism' but simply saying that I respect his success and that he should go on and be comfortable to fix that issue).
If asking someone a simple question about work seems to be an 'attack to professionalism' then I apologize.
>Whatever way you look at it, asking someone the diff between someone's client and employer is, to me, either a profound ignorance or an impertinence. Neither appeals to me.Okay.>However granted I do not read all the mails emanating from this list to know whether impertinence is common in this list because, if it is, then I would request for my own removal.I understand. You can unsubscribe form the mailing list by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of every mail or send SM an email. >I prefer the focus is on technical/technology.Yes, the focus of the mailing is mainly to discuss about Internet in Mauritius. Our objectives are: 100 Mbps and solving the .mu issue (the email I sent Logan is related to the Multi-Stakeholder Forum and is linked to the .mu issue).
We also have off-topic issues and members are welcomed to express their opinion about it.
Kind regards,
