It was of my opinion that the said forum was comprised of professionals or
experts; *relevant *questions from outside their forum wouldn't affect
their composure.
Relevant questions from the public could have lead to a more thorough
discussion on the connected topics.

I wonder how Facebook is being perceived among certain individuals. This
may be out of context but since zero-rating services are offered for
Facebook, I were assuming that Facebook would be considered as 'normal' and
more valuable than other internet services.
