I think that the test cases need to be more varied. When I go to a
cyber-cafe, There are lot of users who are making short requests to
viber/whatsapp, and longer requests to synchronise their
mails/facebooks or updating their android apps.

Keeping the latency low when your upload speed is often saturated is a
problem, which has been received more attention these days.

Also, as you are already aware, there have been improvements to TCP
specs such as increasing size of TCP initial window size.

SM, Are you aware of anybody who has assessed the impact of those
changes, once the code end up in production in Mauritian companies ?
Google and the other big companies is pushing for evolution of TCP,
but we got little feedback from Mauritius and other african countries
regarding the impact of those changes.
