In Ubuntu it works fine. Nevertheless I agree we need to find a solution
for those who are not able to watch the videos. We are streaming in "wmv"
(windows proprietary format: no more supported). All the archive files are
in wmv format on our streaming server, which itself is a Microsoft Media
server running on Win Server 2003. I must find out why Ubuntu plays the
video without any plugin where as Mint and Elementary OS require plugin
though they are both Debian derivatives. It would be of great help if you
could also try to find out a working solution.
