Hello Jochen,
Can you tell us what type of domain you renewed ? I mean 2-letter,
3-letter, 4-letter or 4+ letter domain ?
I suppose it's ios.mu. I just did a whois
$ whois ios.mu
Domain Name: ios.mu
Domain ID: 110429-CoCCA
WHOIS Server:
Referral URL:
*Updated Date: 2015-03-27*T07:05:25.205Z
Creation Date: 2008-03-28T09:35:10.386Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2018-03-28T09:35:10.335Z
Sponsoring Registrar: Register.mu
Sponsoring Registrar IANA ID:
Domain Status: ok
So you paid around Rs2300 for a 3-letter .mu domain. Some weeks ago someone
on this mailing list wrote, if I remember well, 3-letter domains are
premium domains, meaning the cost must be higher than $64.
How come you are paying $64 for a premium .mu domain ? Does it mean that
Register.mu apply arbitrary pricing ?
Regards,
Nadim Attari
