Yes the poor Mauritian Internet connection was a problem until I came tried the Flash Media Encoder system that has a cool buffering system. :)
Would be clad to clarify further if need arises :)

Hello SM

>>The person responsible for an event decides about the details of the event. You could ask that person about providing a live feed.

-I definitely would love to.

>>I would expect a university student to be able to determine the complexity or cost as the information about that is available on the internet. Could you try to do that?

-to be honest i have a marketing background. Though i might find it on the internet i am more certain i would have gotten more specific and local information from you people as this is your field. Your advice is very appreciated though. It is true i should have looked onto it first. Thanks you very much to take the time to respond. It is very much appreciated.

Hello Irshaad

>>I will relate a personal experience of mine...

- thank you very much. This was the kind of thing i wanted to know about.
So if i have understood you correctly our poor online connection is still a problem right?

>>
3. Need to assemble a crew for it.
But I was able to do some livestreams, and yeah, Mauritius can do live streams. Adding the fact that YouTube now enables Live Stream options for Mauritian accounts too (Mine got activated when I came to Turkey).

- I would very much like to learn how you do it. If you need a helping hand or crew do inform if you think i might be useful in it when doing it the next time.

I will relate a personal experience of mine. I've been diving in several live-streaming solutions (Video and Audio) and possibilities for quite some time as a hobby. I encountered three main problems.

1. Internet connection. Poor internet connection to provide a live feed, But this can be countered by streaming to YouTube and using Adobe Flash Media Encoder and some tweakings.2. Need of some powerful machines for live mixing and live graphics.3. Need to assemble a crew for it.
