Yeah, but for what kind of technology does it justify that price.
Chinese sellers are selling counterfeit apple watches starting at $25
while sometimes the hardware is much better and also better battery
life.

Granted whenever I buy something (which can take years) I evaluate using
a particular characteristic and I do not care about price, for example I
bought my watch or Rs 2000 as at that price it guaranteed to be water
resist till 200m which is perfect for me since it suit my job hardships.

That watch costing around Rs 10000, half the price goes to branding .

IoT revolves around inter connectivity and apple products are well
known to tightly coupled to apple products.

Even some samsung, sony watches could only be operated by a few versions
of their mobile phones

There was a line said by the apple speaker(in the video sm could not
view in his browser) that gave me goose bumps:

the watch is part of you.

Implying it will be used to collect data about you for their own use.

I'm sure some people in USA will be mad at that product because it will
only fuel their theory that apple will control YOU.
