I read an interesting comment at

about the .mu ccTLD.

As you mentioned, Section 12 of the ICT Act states that "The Minister
shall, after consultation with the Board, appoint an Internet
Management Committee". The members of the Committee would therefore
be considered as political appointees. What can happen if a
government does not like what has been published on a ".mu" web
site? Would the political appointees raise an objection about the
removal of the domain name?
