Mr Sookun gave a talk about Civic Engagement through Technology at the Youth Leadership Residential Conference which was organized by the US Embassy and the Ministry of Youth & Sports. The conference took place at Pointe Jérome Youth Centre, Mahebourg [1]. Following that event he was invited
to deliver a presentation at UCLAN on Thursday 29th of January 2016 and
to set up a booth on Friday 30th of January 2016. He was selected as the representative of
the Mauritius Internet Users to interact with students and provide information
about volunteering in a civic organization promoting the advancement of Internet in Mauritius.
Unfortunately, the representative of the Mauritius Internet Users does not have the freedom to participate in the events on Thursday and Friday.
