Dear Sir/Madam,
As per the article which appeared on lemauricien.com [1] on 15
September 2015, a "consent form" is required to be signed by
applicants of the ID Card in order for the National Identity Card
Centre to proceed further. The author of the article mentions that the
consent form is given after fingerprints of the applicant have been
recorded.
May I have a copy of this "consent form" as I would like to read &
understand its contents? I checked the Civil Status Division's website
[2] but could not find much information regarding registration of the
new ID Cards.
The mnic.mu website which previously published details about the new
ID Card is unavailable [3] since several months now.
I initially contacted the Civil Status Division and was referred to
the Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation.
