I ask myself, what are the measures preventing IT companies from hiring
foreign workers in the area of IT ? The only thing coming to my mind is the
30k minimum salary. I mean, any expatriate who is good is going to ask for
a good salary, as he can get it in another country. If Mauritius, cannot
pay him, then, he can choose the US, UK or Germany.
So what kind of "feu vert" are we talking about ? Removing all of the
barriers, and turning IT into the next textile industry ?
Is this the kind of ICT/BPO industry we want ?
