I am on MyT 1mb and live at Curepipe.
Last year i had same problem and several times their technician came to my place. They just replace the livebox and the last time they came, the technician brought an equipment to check the line attenuation and other stuff and according to him, it was because their line could not support the speed of my connection or something of that sort. I don't remember what exactly he told me. But when my connection became stable again, i was given i month of free internet. If this persist i'll have to send a complaint too.

Yuv

At home, I have a 1MB myT connection. During the day, (lets say 10 am to 3pm) the speed is fine. But between 6pm and 2am the speed is worst. You can't view videos on youtube (even 144 does not play) You can't open web pages. You can't do anything with the connection.
I am located in the region of Grand baie.
I suggest sending a complaint to contact_at_orange.mu to explain the above. As the ICTA requires evidence of the complaint you could copy that email to the mailing list.
I have other friends in the region of Goodlands and triolet complaining about slowness.
If your friends find the slowness a problem they could send a complaint too if they believe that it is advantageous to them.
