I got something similar some days ago, I was asked to chose cats from the
pictures. Similar to captcha to identify you as a person behind the sharing
of external links.
There is a similar check when users log in from other devices, where you
are asked to identify a picture you uploaded or uploaded by a friend,
difficult for an imposter to fake or a bot to go through. Yet is it
annoying if you fail to identify it. hope the following link will give you
