Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share the results I got from downloading "Livebox.zip" using La Fibre 10M.
Kind Regards,

Hello all,
I just did some tests (betw 07h10-07h20 in the morning).
Downloading Livebox(local download)
Downloading LibreOffice (from outside Mauritius, same server as Sun)
I am in Triolet and have 512K MyT connection. Note: I did not upgrade to 1M when Orange asked me to, some years ago. This is what I have in my Livebox admin panel:
Online, I also noted that:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Package Volume / month Price Download Upload----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MyT 1M [1] Unlimited Rs 1,099 (VAT incl) Up to 1Mbps (international) Up to 384 kbps (local & international)
MyT 10M [2] 50GB Rs 949 (VAT incl) Up to 10Mbps Up to 1Mbps If the 50GM/mo is exceeded: Up to 1Mbps Up to 384 kbps
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Points noted:1. MyT 1M = ADSL. MyT 10M = Fibre
2. I am getting 10M with LaFibre for a lower price (incl VAT) compared to MyT 1M - Rs949 v/s Rs1099
3. If I exceed the 50GB volume allowed monthly, I'll be reduced to same download/upload speed as MyT 1M
Conclusion: I'll be subscribing to LaFibre 10M for a better speed & price. I've already been to a customer service last week. Still waiting for them to install LaFibre.
