CordialementPatrice Donzelot(+230) 57 86 41 42 / (+230) 211 77 66-------- Original Message --------

I would like to express my gratitude to Mr Donzelot for helping out concerning this issue.I find that Morimode's reply was impolite. SM sent that mail to enquire about whether the gift would be delivered. There were no accusations . It seems that Morimode has a problem with adolescents expressing themselves. I believe it is quite normal for an adolescent to express herself and to ask a polite question when the latter has been promised a gift especially if it was through a public announcement. How can a young person use Twitter to express herself when a company is involving its legal advisors about what is being tweeted?Should a young person in Mauritius hire a lawyer to ensure that every tweet abides to the Mauritian laws?By the way, why did Morimode block me on Twitter? Did i say anything that is against its policy?I have been through the www.morimode.com web site and i could not find any "giveaway policy".Normally shouldn't a website have a privacy policy? I couldn't find it on morimode.comRegards,Shelly Hermia Bhujun

CC: sm+mu@elandsys.com; shelly_hermia@hotmail.com; mauritius-internet-users@lists.elandnews.comDear Morimode,It is also customary that when replying to someone from a general enquiry email (e.g info_at_...) you could sign it with a name to allow the other person know if it is Mr Wagner, himself, or someone else replying "on behalf".Besides, I suppose you didn't notice that the email was actually copied to a public mailing list which describes it as "Mauritius Internet Users". Do you know what is a public mailing list? Well, this particular one is a channel where Internet users of Mauritius discuss about Internet in Mauritius, to be short and simple.
So, some time back which you happen to recall as being 4 months ago, Morimode[1] made announcement on Twitter (which runs on the Internet) and involved people in Mauritius. The person involved didn't receive any response though Morimode committed to something (I believe your company assumes a "public announcement" as a commitment, if not then maybe you should explain me your level of seriousness about such an announcement). The said person contacted Morimode and there was no positive reply. Thus she turned towards asking people on Internet channels, which isn't a crime (I guess false advertisement is though). You mention about Giveaway policy. Was the same attached to the Giveaway announcement of December?Someone questioned you in a polite manner and copied the email to a journalist who actually wrote about your company profile. I find it normal since the person quoted his article. You mention a possible post office loss? Can you provide an evidence of the item posted to the person's address? If not, I will assume Morimode never posted the same.Concerning your legal threats, well, I welcome you to contact your legal advisors on the matter. As a concerned person on matters happening on the Internet in Mauritius, I shall expect your stand on this particular matter in the following 24 hours. I do not doubt the hard work of your team but your reply with legal threats just sends a totally negative image on the same. I shall therefore await your stand on your commitment on the Giveaway announcements or if truly (if proven) the package was lost in transit. The latter could have been politely communicated to Ms Bhujun upon her initial queries but sadly Morimode failed to do so.

All the winners were notified and their gifts sent. It is surprising that this issue is brought up more than 4 months later; and after such a long period where we cannot provide more details on the matter. We cannot, however, be held accountable for any post office loss. And we do reserve the right not to reward the individuals who did not comply with our Giveaway policy. We would appreciate that this matter is put to rest, and if any form of public disrespect is made towards our hard-working team, it will be followed by legal action.Morimode team is working hard to provide employment for young and creative people in Mauritius, and we will not allow damaging of our public image by accusations made by adolescents.Morimode-------- Original Message --------

Dear Mr Stoic Wagner,
I received the following message from an internet user in Mauritius.

I read about your company in the news article at
http://www.defimedia.info/defi-quotidien/dq-economie/item/67141-profil-d-entreprise-morim-ltd-initier-les-marques-au-marketing-digital.html
I assume that a respected company would only make an announcement on
a social network if it is able to honour that announcement. In this
case Morim Ltd promised a young person a gift on 19 January. I am
contacting your company as the gift has not been delivered yet. Will
Morim Ltd be delivering the pink tote to Ms Bhujun?
Regards,
S. Moonesamy
